Why does the Home and School Association (HSA) fundraise? St. Mary’s Parish subsidizes St. Mary’s Prep. We try to keep the subsidy amount low so when the Diocese of Paterson looks at our school to see how much subsidy we receive, they see that we are fairly self-sufficient. In order to be self-sufficient we must raise funds. We are asked by Fr. Martin to raise $110,500 over the course of one school year.
The major SMP fundraisers for the 2011-2012 are:
Super Cash Raffle, Cash Cards and Tricky Tray
